Behind The Artworks: Last Retch - Ergotism (2024)

The artwork was painted by Colombian artist Julian Mora Ibanez and depicts a burning castle with a group of farmers hacking each other to death in the foreground. This scene is supposed to represent the theme of ergot induced hysteria as explained in the lyrics of the title track. The band wanted to continue with the quality of art established on the first release "Sadism and Severed Heads" which featured original artwork from Italian painter Paolo Girardi.
