Interviews: The Failsafe

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Post-Hardcore/Electronic band The Failsafe from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

We were in a previous band and one of the members decided she was done the 3 of us still wanted to write and play music and this project was sort of a "failsafe" to preserve our passion for music.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

This is a genre we are all passionate about and did not have a full opportunity to play in before. 3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? Yes - We were all in a band together before The Failsafe.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Jesse: Bad Omens

Caio: Bring Me the Horizon

Chad: Wage War

Deven: Memphis May Fire

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our experiences, both personal and professional. We each live and have lived very complicated times and they make for great songs!

6. Where was your last gig?

We just finished up a small Midwest tour on the way to shoot a video and our last stop was Devenport, IA

7. Where would you like to act?

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Taylor Swift - Imagine the amount of ears on my music!

9. Whom not?

Puff Daddy

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes - Slowing down your speech and making your actions deliberate will help you feel in control of the situation, more confident, and less nervous.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bring me the Horizon, Dayseeker, and Bad Omens - They are at the top of the rock food chain and we aspire to get on their level.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To play a show at their cabin in the woods after our set (we did not do it).

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are our life, energy, and air the band breathes. Without them, we would not be where we are and doing what we are doing

14. What do you think of our site?

A comprehensive page with tons of interviews to gather a lot of insight on up-and-coming bands.

15. Something to add?

Dying to Exist (our new single) is out on 5.24.2024 and we as a band feel this is our strongest song yet!
