Interviews: Stoned Space

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Psychedelic Stoner Rock band Stoned Space from the USA. Check out this band and follow them on their INSTAGRAM PROFILE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or come out just like that?

We wanted a name that captured both the psychedelic and stoner rock elements of our music. "Stoned Space" just felt right, like a cosmic journey.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Psychedelic stoner rock allows us to explore different sonic landscapes and create a vibe that resonates with our souls.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, for a while!

4. Each band member's favorite band?

We have diverse tastes, but some favorites among us include Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Kyuss.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our music is inspired by experiences, dreams, and a general fascination with the unknown and surreal.

6. Where was your last gig?

Stoned Space didn't play live.

7. Where would you like to act?

Red Rocks Amphitheatre, why not ;)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

John Garcia or Al Cisneros.

9. Whom not?

Grindcore.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Stage fright is natural, but focusing on the music and connecting with the audience can help overcome it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors have had a profound impact on us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We've had some interesting requests, but one of the weirdest was a fan asking for a lock of our hair for a "ritual."

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are everything to us. Their support and enthusiasm drive us to keep creating music.

14. What do you think of our site?

Your site provides a platform for music lovers to discover new bands and explore different genres. It's great to see such dedication to the music community.

15. Something to add?

Keep exploring new music and supporting emerging artists. Music is a journey, and we're grateful to be a part of it. Our Bandcamp: https://stonedspace.bandcamp.com/album/i
