George Weller (Lead Guitar): ‘Outside In’ was originally written to be on acoustic guitar with a distorted lead line, very much like ‘Where Is My Mind?’ by Pixies. We found when rehearsing it that the riff worked better as a whole band with the rhythm guitar distorted and that's the way it stayed. I think there's a lot of times in this song where you can hear the connection between the rhythm guitar and drums really clearly and that's something I'm proud of.
