Interviews: BLOODRUNNER

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal/Heavy Metal/Rock 'N' Roll band BLOODRUNNER from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

It was actually the original lead guitarist. He came up with the name.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

The first metal band that I fell in love with was Metallica. Seeing them play fast seemed so fun to do and it's true especially when the whole band clicks. It’s the best drug.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The original lineup yes I knew the bassist from school. For the other lineups just dudes I’ve met because of Facebook and most recently an app called BandMix. They always have local musicians signing up and advertising themselves.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Neal & Anthony: Metallica

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Just everyday life and my past. Random words always come to me from then and I always write them down.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was at a rehab clinic in Downtown Chicago. First time doing BloodrunneR Unplugged. It was fun.

7. Where would you like to act?

Am I reading this right? Act? Hmmmm idk really. I guess doing a commercial for Jackson (wink wink) haha

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Feature with? Hmm idk any one of my favorite bands to listen to I guess.

9. Whom not?

Not? A person or band I don't like. I don't think I'd say yes to anyone I don't like.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Once in 4th grade before the band recital haha. Honestly not really. Just practice your stuff and be confident on stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

My top 5 of all time are Metallica, Megadeth, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, and The Rolling Stones.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Weirdest thing? Idk really. Nothing comes to mind.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They seem like normal metal heads. But quite so..... haha

14. What do you think of our site?

Seems like a great tool for bands. PR companies always help.
