Interviews: Suicide Puppets

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band Suicide Puppets from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or come out just like that?

The band name came from a random metal band name generator. Out of the list it generated we liked Suicide Puppets best

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Metal has always been our favorite genre of music. We specifically chose Industrial Goth Metal for the diversity of the genre. We love adding orchestral synth, and keyboard elements to the music. It gives it more depth and feeling.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Twisty and Jonny were the only ones to know each other prior to Suicide Puppets forming.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Twisty - Ministry

Jonny - Wednesday 13

Veritas - Fear Factory

Steven - Metallica

Z - Dope

Invictus - Ice Nine Kills

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Serial Killers, and horror films! We have 4 films coming out this year and next year that are featuring our music which is killer.

6. Where was your last gig?

Launch Music Conference and Festival in Lancaster Pennsylvania

7. Where would you like to act?

Europe, and South America

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

The list is long but to name a few would be Ministry, Fear Factory, Wednesday 13, Cradle Of Filth, Ice Nine Kills

9. Whom not?

As long as the lineup makes sense we are open to anything

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

I don't think any of us have had stage fright but a good way to cope with that is to imagine everyone naked..... or so I'm told.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

There are quite a few Ministry, Fear Factory, Wednesday 13, Pantera, Dope, Rob Zombie, Rammstein

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I don't think we have ever had weird requests but one of the coolest ones was someone had us sign their calf and they got it tattooed on them

13. What do you think of your fans?

Hands down the best fans ever
