Track By Tracks: PSYCHOTIC OUTSIDER - 6 (2024)

The overarching story of the ep is the struggle with mental health,

 

"Crazy Little Things" is about depression, anxiety, and psychosis bordering on schizophrenia that stems from these conditions, being a slave to the negative thoughts and wishing you could go back to the days before the affliction began.

 

"Till we decay" is the only track that doesn't touch on mental health as it explores the madness of the current sociopolitical climate of the world we live in. Between the various religions and news networks peddling propaganda, truth has become a rare commodity.

 

The title track "6" is about insomnia, the frustration of not being able to sleep and the inevitable nightmares encountered when you do, the "monsters" mentioned are the negative thoughts that creep in when trying to silence the mind.

"Drift" is about the cognitive dissonance encountered when losing a loved one, the overwhelming grief leading you to feel like you are lost at sea with no way to move on and being stranded in the confusion

"Amen" is an instrumental that represents the beauty of music and the solace it presents for so many of us. It encapsulates the highs and lows of life and music with it's low bass tone and soaring solo notes
