Behind The Artworks: Tailor's Wave - Ajna (2024)
He's interested in Reiki (he gained 1st level Reiki certificate) and chakras, in particular the 6th chakra that's called Ajna. It's on our forehead, between the eyebrows. It's considered the center of intuition, wisdom, and spiritual knowledge. Its Sanskritic name means “to perceive”, so Rik imagined a skull abandoned in the desert and a light coming from the sky hitting the third eye to allow that skull to become an intermediary for an exchange. The contrast between life, death, and rebirth is connected to the themes of the songs and to the band's way of writing new music and proposing it to the audience.
Starting from this idea, every band member has given his contribution and this is the final result.
The artwork was realized by the graphic designer Renzo Rossetti, who totally understood the profound meaning and put all his expertise and professionalism into this amazing job.
