In this new interview, we sat down with the American Metalcore band Kill Lonely to ask questions about their album, "TEMPTATION".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

This EP consists of five tracks that delve into some darker themes, crafted during a challenging period of family turmoil. It captures the tension and unease I felt, like walking on pins and needles with the weight of the world on my shoulders. While the songs convey a mix of anger and sadness, I believe they resonate with a raw, powerful emotion that makes the experience truly compelling.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The EP is titled TEMPTATION, reflecting the myriad choices we face in life that can lead us toward either positive or negative outcomes. Each decision begins with our personal resolve, shaping the life we choose to live. It's a reminder that we hold the power to create greatness or invite chaos through our choices. Essentially, choose wisely, as the path of temptation can quickly shift from light to darkness.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

I played a key role as one of the main lyricists for the EP, collaborating closely with some talented homies who contributed to its production and co-writing. A special shoutout goes to Kevin Kerestes of KingxCold and Jared Robles for their invaluable input and creativity throughout this project.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Initially, I had mixed feelings about 'Gone,' but it's surprising how much I've grown to love it; it's now my favorite track from the EP. Seeing how many people connect with it fills me with pride.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

Life is what you make of it; as I mentioned earlier, the power to shape your life lies solely in your hands. You have the choice to turn it into something extraordinary or let it become a disaster, so choose wisely.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

In 'EMANCIPATE,' the song delves deeply into my desire to break free from a suffocating situation. The lines that resonate with me the most express that feeling: 'You liar, deceiver / Emancipate everything I despise / You drain me like leeches / Draining my blood till I die.' Those words capture the stress I felt, as if life itself was being drained from my very being.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

Shouts out to my wife for her unwavering support through all my craziness and to my son, my greatest inspiration, who has truly opened my eyes and sparked my drive. A big thank you to Ghost Killer Entertainment for believing in our vision, and a huge shoutout to everyone who contributed to making this project a reality.
