Behind The Scenes: SVNTH - Narrow, Narrow (Official Video)

“Narrow, Narrow” is the third single from SVNTH’s new album Pink Noise Youth. It is one of the most dynamic tracks on the record, alternating hardcore-oriented explosions with shoegaze-inspired emotional sections. The song’s theme revolves around the loss of loved ones and the memories of them during late youth. The final refrain, “We will never come back again, but we’ll always be here,” is intended to serve as an anthem reflecting on the brevity of human life in contrast to the eternity of the memories we leave behind in others.

 

The video was shot by Leonardo Saba of the shoegaze band Krøvi during the band’s 2024 European tour, which included shows mainly in Spain (7 shows from north to south), Portugal, and France, with SVNTH and Krøvi performing together.

 

Leonardo joined the tour with a digital camera and filmed many situations, including road trips, shows, and offstage moments.

 

One of the most interesting aspects of the video is the wide variety of landscapes the Iberian Peninsula offers. From the lush fields of the Basque Country and Cantabria to the stunning ocean shores of Galicia and Portugal, as well as the dry Mediterranean vistas of Murcia and Andalusia, and the urban environments of Madrid and Barcelona, it’s a full immersion in the colors of springtime. These visuals are accompanied by the joyful of offstage moments typical of touring, with some live performance footage to capture the energy of the shows.

 

The video was ultimately edited with a Super 8 effect by Underroom Studio, which also worked on the previous singles’ videos. This effect adds a nostalgic vibe that fits perfectly with documentary-style music videos like this one.
