The latest single by the band Dirty Slippers, titled 'The Best,' was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with producer George Shilling, who has worked with world stars such as Oasis, Frank Turner, and Mike Oldfield. 'The Best' is an unconventional love song, as the main character is a man who has ruined his relationship with the love of his life. By the time he realizes he has lost his true love, it will be too late. The story reflects a very similar old love story experienced by the songwriting duo (Lobó-Szalóky Lázár - guitar, vocals and Bodrogközy Rita - songwriter, backing vocals), which has clearly left a significant mark on each of them. Producer George Shilling assisted the Hungarian authors in writing the English lyrics, while Ferenczi Bebi was responsible for the hard-hitting drums. For Lobó-Szalóky Lázár, the frontman, this is the most important song on the new album.
