On this new occasion, we had the opportunity to interview the Black Metal/Death Metal band GraveMass from Canada. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Was it planned, or did it just happen organically?

Organically, ask yourself, where is the best place for a black mass? To maximize the Blasphemy on hallowed ground.

 

2. Why did you choose to play this genre?

Not a choice, a calling.

3. Did you know each other before forming the band?

A tribe of metal brothers for many years, we have all been part of the West Coast Metal scene for decades.

4. What is each band member's favorite band?

I believe that we all have many ... as long as it's brutal.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Lucifer, the lord of light.

6. Where was your last gig?

Calgary, AL - Canada.

7. Where would you like to perform in the future?

We have our sights set on Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America.

8. Which artist or band would you like to collaborate with?

The most brutal and punishing bands on earth.

9. Is there anyone you wouldn’t want to collaborate with?

Those that are less than punishing and brutal.

10. Have any of you ever experienced stage fright? Do you have any tips for beginners on overcoming it?

No, grow a set.... fucking do it.

11. Which bands have influenced you the most?

Venom, Slayer, Dark Throne, Morbid Angel, Watain, Behemoth, Immortal.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Some of my shit.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Family, Congregation, Tribe, Brothers, and Sisters.

14. What do you think of our site?

Badass, represent!!

15. Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Grave Mass will lead you through the endless night in the twilight of despair..... Blegh.
