"Vicious Cycles" is the sister song to the first track on the EP Hellhounds and is a different approach to the song instrumentally, lyrically it’s about being trapped with your own thoughts and how it feels like it’s never ending, and myself and Tyler Small who helped write the chorus wanted it to capture that “trapped or stuck feeling” and also being catchy and the title viscous cycle’s actually comes up in hellhounds and that’s why it felt right to have it be the name of the ep since it’s referenced in other songs.” - Trent Wilson, lead vocalist.
