Time Stood Still is about the moment after heartbreak when everything freezes—when the pain becomes so quiet, so still, that it almost becomes a presence in itself.

It was born from the experience of being cheated and feeling abandoned by someone I deeply loved, and from all the emotions that followed: confusion, grief, inner questioning, and the impossible choice between holding on or letting go.

The song moves through these layers with simplicity—soft instrumentation, minimal textures, and lyrics that feel almost like a conversation with the self.

It’s not a dramatic cry, but rather a gentle unraveling. A whisper from the heart when the voice can barely speak.

Interestingly, this was the only previously released song that made it into my new upcoming album. Back in 2020, I wasn’t able to get the sound or energy right. Only now, stepping into a deeper and more authentic version of myself, did it finally come through clearly. In that sense, Time Stood Still isn’t just a song. It’s a bridge between who I was and who I’m becoming.

I hope it can offer listeners a soft place to land. A moment of stillness where they feel less alone in their own healing.
