Behind The Artworks: Küntsquäd - Satans Cock (2025)

The cover art is by Rok (Sad Ex). This is the second piece Rok has designed for us, he also designed the cover art for our debut album, so I think he has an understanding of what we’re about as a band. When we approached him for this album, he was keen to know the title before commencing, so when we told him that it was to be ‘Satans Cock’, he was surprised, shocked and amused all at the same time. We knew he got it, in other words, he’s understood our intentions for it to be just that. It’s an intentionally provocative title and needed something equally provocative, but also quite derivative of the genre. The large appendage, which looks like it could be an entity all of its own, fittingly sets the tone for the dark satirical theme of this album. It was never intended to be pretty nor serious, but finding the balance could be tricky.. but Rok delivered the satanik member in spades and then some. It just so happens the piece is actually a painting,
