Interviews About Albums: INDECENT BEHAVIOR - Sick (2025)

In this new interview, we sat down with the German Pop Punk band INDECENT BEHAVIOR to ask questions about their album, "Sick".

1. What can you say about this new LP, ‘SICK’?

HB: It’s actually our 4th full-length album. It’s a record for everyone who sometimes just feels overwhelmed. For those who feel like they’re living in a world that doesn’t make sense, and for anyone searching for a place where they can feel understood and at peace. We are so happy with the result! :)

2. What is the meaning of the title? How did you come up with it?

HB: On the one hand, “sick” means something very negative. You can be sick of so many things or feel sick. But on the other hand, it’s also something very positive. This double meaning perfectly describes how we feel right now. There is so much going on in this world right now that makes us sick. But when we talk to our fans and play concerts, there’s so much hope that everything will be okay again. That’s what we wanted to capture in this album title.

3. Which one is the composer of ‘SICK’?

HB: The songs are all written by me (Henrik) and produced by our guitarist, Chris.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick and why?

HB: I’d pick the title song “SICK”, because it puts together what the whole record is about. But I also love “I Fell In Love Every Weekend” as it is the first acoustic song we’ve ever written. It’s also great to play that song live. Very emotional!

5. Is there a special message in this LP? If there is, what would you say it is?

HB: This world can be very overwhelming, but if you do what you love, if you’re good to others, good things will come back to you… and things will get better again.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

HB: Oh, I think that every song’s lyrics are worth reading… Every song has its own place in the “sick” story, and I could not decide which line hits me most.. Because they all do in a certain kind of way.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

HB: We always write songs about whatever’s on our minds right now. So for the lyrics, it’s all about what’s happening in our lives and in the world at the moment. But of course, we are very happy for our families and friends to support us on our way. And we are so thankful for the best fans in the world, who keep giving us hope and inspire us to look forward together. Without you, it would have been a very sad record, haha!

8. Something to add?

HB: Yeah, we hope to see you all on tour and tell everyone about our new record, haha! Be kind to one another and take care! Thank you, I really appreciated the interview.
