Interviews: Night Attack
On this new occasion, we had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band Night Attack from the USA. Check out the interview and follow this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it or came out just like that?
The name Night Attack was taken from the mid-1400s battle that took place in Wallachia. During my teenage
years, I enjoyed history and listening to Razor. The idea to incorporate vampirism and the name Night Attack sparked years later.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
I chose the genre thrash because it is the style of my youth. It's a music style I enjoyed dearly growing up. I
still love it today. I had my reasoning for not playing this music during my teenage years.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
I did know the original members before the band was formed. This was one of the reasons I started Night
Attack. 3 of the members I started the band with were guys from my youth. One I knew at age 16. The other
two I met just a few years later. This was the line-up before The Initiation days. The guys who participated in
Necromancer belong to a later generation.
4. Each band member's favourite band?
Old days Razor-Deathrow-Kreator-Megadeth-Sepultura and so on
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I and what I've been through in everyday life. Inner struggle, anger, hate, pain, and so on.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last show was earlier in the year. We played at Ground Zero in Spartanburg, SC. This venue has held
many great shows. I saw Enthroned when I was 17.
7. Where would you like to act?
Europe or South America
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
The German Big 4
9. Whom not?
Lincoln Park, Limp Biscuit, no nu metal, and no hip hop, please
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
Not really, Vodka
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Megadeth, Deathrow
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Spills my drink, replaces drink using my drink ticket.
13. What do you think of your fans?
I think our fans are amazing. All our fans have been very supportive throughout the years. We see familiar faces
who continue to attend our shows as well as new followers. Fan base at shows continues to grow. The
reactions and feedback we hear and get continue to be amazing. Mosh pits are getting bigger.
Our energy feeds theirs, their energy feeds ours. It's a great feeling to have, and it makes performing feel real
and alive.
14. What do you think of our site?
Great site, but being in several bands, I can't help to notice why the same exact questions?
15. Something to add?
