Behind The Artworks: Behind Bars - As I Wait For Death (2025)

A man stands amidst the ruins of a long-lost city. Broken and alone he beholds the still burning flames rising above the towering buildings in the distance. He thinks back to times long gone and people long forgotten. As the last human to walk this barren waste, his thoughts run astray. His sorrow takes hold of him while he succumbs to the loneliness he has been victim too for far too long. “Is this my legacy? Is this how I will spend my days upon this wretched soil?” Now fallen into despair he falls to his knees. All he can do now... Is ponder on when this nightmare sheds his skin.

But as he looks up, he sees the setting sun behind a vast mountain of clouds. The colors and textures become more present as he gets back on his feet. He is moved by it's beauty and his sorrow gently starts to fade. “Maybe my last days on this earth are not so bad as they seem. But as I wait for death, with open arms I welcome you friend.”

The album art represents the central theme and concept that surrounds this release. We can fall, but we can get back up. Life can be tough and hard, but in the end, at least if you want it to, things will turn for the better and we can depart this world with a smile on our face and with zero regrets
