Track By Tracks: Il Segno Del Comando - Sublimazione - Live (2025)
Some tracks on this album belong to relatively recent releases, and their sound remains fairly faithful to the original studio recordings. These include: “Il Domenicano Bianco", “Sulla Via della Veglia", “Nel Labirinto Spirituale", “La Bianca Strada", “Il mio nome è Menzogna", “Il Calice dell'Oblio," and “Missa Nigra” (in its 2024 version, which, compared to the one that appeared on the 1996 debut album, had already been rearranged with more modern sounds).
The remaining tracks, “La Taverna dell'Angelo” and “Il Segno del Comando", were performed in versions that had been gradually rearranged over time (thanks in part to the fact that they contain many improvised parts). They were also released for the first time on the band's 1996 debut album of the same name. The versions recorded on this CD feature new drummer Paolo Serboli, whose arrival has further accentuated the hard rock characteristics already present in the band's sound. It should be noted that the bonus tracks at the end of the CD were recorded during a concert in Holland by a line-up that included the previous drummer (Fernando Cherchi) but not keyboardist Beppi Menozzi, who was unable to accompany the band on that occasion due to family problems. The sound is therefore slightly leaner and bluesier.
Aseità is Diego Banchero's solo piece with atmospheric keyboard accompaniment by Davide Bruzzi, improvised during the band's concerts.
