Band Biographies: All We Leave Behind
Formed in 2018 in Grenoble, All We Leave Behind was founded by two seasoned musicians: POG on guitars and growls, and Olaf on drums. The lineup quickly expanded with Hell D on guitar and, in 2021, S.CRUMB, a prominent local bassist, joined to solidify the rhythm section. Bringing added depth and melody, Tony, POG’s son, initially joined on keyboards before taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure.
Drawing inspiration from Doom, Goth, and Death Metal, the band channels the spirit of icons like Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, and Candlemass. Their music delivers an uncompromising vision, exploring profound themes such as ecology, religion, and the fragility of the human condition. Heavy, slow riffs intertwine with haunting piano melodies, while intricate bass and drum patterns create a sound that is both melodic and intensely powerful.
