Behind The Artworks: Old Deer - Someone In The House (2025)

Special thank you to Dan Miles, our friend and photographer, who provided a swath of awesome shots for us to utilize for this project.

 

I‘m speaking for the four of us when I say that we love it when art doesn’t hand itself to you, and you have to use your ears and your heart to delve deep and find what really resonates with you about these songs.

Art is a journey for the artist as well as the listener, and I think the photos that Dan captures are really great pieces that complement the ambiguous aesthetic that we have strived for since the project’s birth. We hope that helps people create their own identity for what they think Old Deer is and can be.

 

We’re just some passionate people working hard to channel the things we love, the things we fear, and the things we desire into a creative endeavor that hopefully allows others to reflect on their own journeys along with us.

 

We don’t know what growth the future holds for our art or our sound, but we are so stoked to have such cool and creative friends who help us craft the little nuances that make this group of four gookers the unique beast it’s become. We love y’all!
