Behind The Tracks: RISEN CROW - Requiem For A Damned Love (Single) (2025)

“Rising Crow” was one of the first songs we wrote for the album, and it quickly became the emotional core of the project. The inspiration came from the idea of the crow as a timeless messenger between life and death, a creature that carries both pain and rebirth in its wings. From a compositional point of view, we wanted the song to feel like a journey: it starts with a haunting atmosphere and a sense of mourning, then grows in intensity with heavy riffs and dramatic orchestrations, until it explodes in a powerful chorus. The duality between dark verses and soaring melodies was meant to mirror the contrast between despair and hope. In the studio we worked carefully on the layering of guitars and symphonic elements to give the track its epic, almost cinematic feel. For us, “Rising Crow” is not just a song but a statement: a way to turn grief into strength and to guide the listener through darkness toward liberation.
