In this new interview, we sat down with the Power Metal project AEDAN SKY to ask questions about his album "The Universal Realm". 

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

Aedan Sky is a space opera concept album of pure speed power metal with a lot of choirs and melodies.

It tells the story of SKY and AEDAN across their journey through space, time, and awakening.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

Aedan et Sky are the two names of the protagonists of the story.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

It's me, Sébastien Chabot, singer of the SKY character.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

Maybe "Beyond the vortex of time", speed, catchy, power!

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

The story talks about individual awakening as a means to attain the global awakening of all mankind.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

Each song talks about a part of the story.

Maybe the chorus of the song "Call of the universe"

It says : "Hear the call of the universe now

Follow the voice from inside

You've got the power to rise

Follow the call of your heart"

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

The biggest inspiration for this project is Kai Hansen with the end of the 90's Gamma Ray albums and first Helloween "Walls of Jericho" Thank you, Kai, we love you.
