Interviews: Halcón 7

On this new occasion, we had the opportunity to interview the Alternative Metal band, Halcón 7, from Mexico. Check out the interview and follow this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it or came out just like that? 

The band name was something I remembered as a kid from a character that only old school people know of, and I always thought it was a killer name for a band.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We are all metalheads since we were kids, so it's in our nature.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We have known each other for many years and had bands together before Halcon 

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Slipknot, metallica, faith no more, ozzy

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our songs are mostly inspired by making conscious that there is a thin line in all humans to become evil at some point in life. 

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was being the opening act for an international band here in Mexico. 

7. Where would you like to act?

Knotfest 

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

My personal favorite would be Billy Idol. 

9. Whom not?

None of those regional Mexicano guys. 

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Of course, we have all experienced stage fright; it's a must! It drives you, and if you can reverse it and turn it into excitement, you will be unstoppable. Remember: every stage is your playground! You own it!   

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Faith no more (patton), slipknot, ozzy osbourne, pantera. Newer bands: Falling in Reverse, Slaughter to Prevail, and While She Sleeps. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To get our logo tattooed on their body. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are the best, and they stand by us on everything. They Rock! 

14. What do you think of our site?

Great site, and we are honored and thrilled to be on it.
