Behind The Artworks: Octotanker - Voidhopper (2025)
The cover was heavily inspired by movie posters where only half of the main character’s face is visible. We may have a bit of Mandela Effect at play, because we were sure that’s how the Terminator poster looked, which turned out not to be true at all. We wanted our main villain, Voidhopper - a representation of the void inside us - not to be on full display, but to appear more like a dark stalker: spying on you, hiding behind a corner, mysterious and ominous. Voidhopper also blends nicely into the void of space, which is itself more terrifying than any monster.
