Interviews About Albums: Rising Alma - Cracking The Moment (2025)

In this new interview, we sat down with the German Melodic Hard Rock band, Rising Alma, to ask questions about their album "Cracking The Moment". 

1. What can you say about this new CD?

Cracking The Moment is our second full-length album, and it shows who we are more than ever. The sound is original, full of energy, and very diverse - because that’s us. We’re not here to fit into one box. We want to prove that an album is not just a list of songs. It’s a chapter of our story. Cracking The Moment is about where Rising Alma is right now, about our feelings and driv,e and we’re proud to share it all with you.

2. What is the meaning of the CD name?

Cracking the Moment for us means breaking open and truly experiencing each moment instead of letting life just rush by. Every moment, no matter how different or chaotic, has its own meaning and value. The title is about being present, feeling everything deeply, and finding the beauty or truth hidden inside those moments.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD?

The songwriters of this album are the singer Alīse and the guitarist Máximo, who are also the founding members of the band.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

For each of us in the band, it would be a different song, and we love that! It shows that our album isn’t just about one hit, but a mix of songs that connect in different ways. When we asked this question during our last rehearsal, the band’s picks were Mystery, Snakes, and Innocence.

5. Is there a special message on this CD? If there is what it is?

There’s a message in every song. Each song tells its own story and hides its own secret. But you have to take the journey and listen to the album to truly get it, just saying the message wouldn’t carry the same weight.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

I’d like to share a few lines from our song Innocence:

“I dream of blue and purple skies,

Turning the grey into an art.

No more living in silence.”

I want to encourage anyone reading this to stay active in chasing their dreams and passions. It’s up to you to make your voice heard; never silence your heart.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family,or  someone you'd love to thank especially?

Above all, we want to thank our fans, the ones who’ve believed in our sound and stood by us through every high and low. You’re the reason we keep creating.
