Track By Tracks: Kariman - Horror Vacui (2025)


Horror Vacui is a descent into the psychological and existential void that hides behind real acts of murder. Each track portrays a true story — not to glorify violence, but to explore the emptiness that breeds it. It’s an album where death metal meets human fragility, blending brutality, melody, and reflection. We wrote a full description of each track and of the concept of this album, but here is a brief one:

1. One Thousand Shining Bubbles (Sonya Caleffi):

A fragile mind collapsing under social pressure — tragedy hidden behind a perfect face.

A song in pure Karmian style — but taken to the next level with this album.

2. Beastmaster of the Void (The Beasts of Satan):

Alienation, drugs, and lost identity — teenage rebellion turning into a self-destructive cult.

A less melodic, fast, and brutal one.

3. Gott Mit Uns Nicht (Ludwig – Abel & Furlan):

Purity turned into hatred. Two “angels of death” were devoured by the very void they claimed to fight.

A two-stage song: a mid-tempo that becomes a fast song in the second part

4. The Call of the Abyssal Bell (Alleghe Murders):

Legends and buried guilt — the lake as a mirror of silence and truth drowned by fear.
A death metal opera with melodic inserts and clean voices.

5. Black Magical Soap Opera (Leonarda Cianciulli):

Faith, superstition, and maternal madness — sacrifice as a twisted form of love and protection.

A fast and brutal one.

6. Temple of the Fleshless Goddess (Marco Mariolini):

Obsession with purity — love transformed into worship and the annihilation of flesh.

The most Swedish song of the album.

7. Libido et Mors (Sister Maria Luisa Ridolfi):

Desire and religion intertwined — the sacred and the profane as two faces of the same void.

Another one in pure Karmian style, but brutally delivered and in Italian

8. Beyond the Dream Gate of Fear (Gianfranco Stevanin):

The line between dream and reality dissolves — the mind creating its own realm of terror.

A more death metal one, the least melodic of our career

9. Maker of Angels (Rosa Bronzo):

Abandonment ritualized — innocence sacrificed to preserve appearances.
A pure death metal mid-tempo with fast inserts
