Track By Tracks: Lomor - Sabouk Rouge (2025)
1. Sabour Rouge:
Talks about slavery were introduced on our island in the mid-17th century till the 19th century. It's a kind of satire of the modern slavery imposed by our Western societies.
2. Tantine Lo Clou:
Well, this one is very weird and talks about a really embarrassing anecdote we experienced on our first French tour in 2023...
3. Meet Your Meat:
This is an insane guy tortured by his wish to eat himself. Deliciously macabre.
- Sanctuary: Imagine a shining secret place where a cast do rituals to free your soul from your body with a dagger.
4. A shiny day of A Vampire:
This is the story of a vampire driven by his desire to see the sun.
5. La Haine:
“Hatred” in French speaks of all the curses placed on humanity by all religions since the dawn of time.
6. La Pouss':
This one talks about wild car racing, which is very popular here on the island. It's definitely the most hilarious song of the album when you understand the Creole language, ha ha ha
7. Panzram:
Carl Panzram was an American serial killer and mass murderer in the early 19th century. This song tries to illustrate the origins of his hatred towards human beings.
8. The Ugly…:
An instrumental song. Guess who is the ugly, the bad, and the bastard in the band?
9. Kit Ta Mère:
This song, originally "Quit'Ta Mère", is a cover song from Black Babouk, written in 2015. It was first released on compilation #6 by Maudit Tangue from the punk scene of Reunion Island.
10. Nevroz:
This one is a joke from Sébastien Camhi during the recording sessions: "Hey guys, why don't we do an 11th track which will be a remake of Psykoz from your first album, but in reverse?" So we did it! Crazy!
