Behind The Artworks: Mirror Of Deception - Transience (2026)
The photo, which was the base of the artwork, was taken a few years ago by our guitarist Jochen on a lonely beach in southern Chile. Alive, it was most likely a young dolphin.
When we started reflecting on a title and a cover for this album, the music, the lyrics, the atmosphere, and the thoughts and experiences that inspired it, and what connects it all. Then this photo came back into focus.
It can't get any more transient and final than this. The older we get, the more we've seen it happen around us, and it makes us aware that nothing and no one - good or bad - will last forever.
Whether we avoid, deny, or accept it, it is a fact and inevitable. But we are still here. And determined to make the best out of the time we have.
It was always important to us to have our own artwork. Either created by ourselves or in collaboration with other artists, based on our ideas.
