Track By Tracks: PUTRED - Blestemul Din Adânc (2026)
1. PANDEMONIUM (INTRO):
The album's overture began with a classical guitar intro conceptualized by Uriel and written by Denis. It resonates in your head like a funeral dirge, dreary, melancholic, in grief... In profound sorrow.
2. SFÂȘIAT... STIGMATIZAT. (TORN... STIGMATIZED):
A blasphemous descent into religious fanaticism and self-inflicted martyrdom. The song tells the story of a priest who begs God to experience the same suffering endured by Christ, believing pain to be the ultimate proof of faith. His prayer is answered not with salvation, but with a cruel curse inflicted upon the flesh. The skin splits open, blood flows endlessly, and agony becomes addictive. What begins as devotion transforms into obsession, as divine silence allows suffering to become eternal. The cross is no longer a symbol of redemption; it is a prison of self-chosen torment, exposing the destructive extremes of blind faith.
3. BLESTEMUL DIN ADÂNC (THE CURSE FROM THE DEEP):
An ancient and forgotten evil awakens beneath the ground, tearing open graves and poisoning the land above. Blestemul din Adânc describes a city consumed by rot, where the air itself carries death, and the dead refuse to remain buried. The curse spreads like an infection, slipping beneath the skin and into the bloodstream, turning bodies into vessels of decay. Humanity becomes powerless as the Prophecy is fulfilled and the Underworld rises to reclaim the living.
4. ÎNTÂLNIREA MORTALĂ (THE DEADLY ENCOUNTER):
A brutal, graphic confrontation with death in its rawest form. This track abandons metaphor in favor of pure visceral horror, depicting mutilated bodies, severed limbs, and decomposing flesh. The listener is forced to witness the inevitable fate of the human body, stripped of identity and reduced to decaying matter. The song stands as a merciless reminder that death is grotesque and unavoidable.
5. CRIPTA VRĂJILOR (THE CRYPT OF SPELLS):
A dark ceremonial invocation of necromancy and forbidden magic. Under a blood-soaked sky and a corrupted moon, ancient spells are unleashed within a cursed crypt. Coffins burst open, spirits are freed from their prisons, and the boundary between life and death collapses. The black bell tolls as flesh is torn apart and the dead answer the call.
6. DEVORAT DE ÎNTUNERIC (DEVOURED BY DARKNESS):
A spiritual and psychological annihilation where faith collapses into despair. Beginning with a sacred prayer as darkness consumes the body and mind, erasing identity and hope. Reality itself becomes hostile, transforming existence into a continuous state of suffering.
7. GROPA OASELOR (THE PIT OF BONES):
The victim is thrown into a pit of bones, surrounded by the remains of countless others who suffered the same fate. Spirits torment the living, flesh is consumed while consciousness remains, and death offers no escape. The song strongly presents that suffering outlives the body in an endless cycle of decay, fear, and pain.
8. CATACOMBE SÂNGERII (CATACOMBS OF BLOOD):
The catacombs are alive, reacting to the intruder with stench, infestation, and transformation. Worms crawl through empty eye sockets, skeletal figures move with purpose, and columns of decaying flesh line the tunnels. Once inside, the human form begins to change, breaking down as the environment claims it. Escape is impossible; the catacombs exist to consume.
9. ULTIMUL CLOPOT (THE LAST BELL):
The final moment of judgment, the final song. Lost in a graveyard beneath a shattered sky, the sound of a cursed bell signals the end of all things. The dead rise, spirits scream, and reality fractures as the final hour arrives. With the final bell toll, existence collapses into silence, sealing the fate of both the living and the dead.
10. SUBCONSCIOUS TERROR (BENEDICTION COVER):
Paying our humble homage to one of our main influences and favorite death metal bands from the UK.
This album is a manifestation of everything PUTRED stands for. No polished sound, no comfort, just a wall of sound pushed until it starts to rot.
The album moves slowly and violently, dragging the listener into its own nauseating space. The best way to describe it is as a mix between the brutality and aggression of Repulsie Post-Mortem and the grandiosity of Megalit Al Putrefacției; this time, the sound production feels more natural and organic.
From the drummer’s perspective, He introduced new elements that helped shape the identity of the album as a whole. Everything was played with the intention of serving the atmosphere rather than a technical display. This is the strongest and most mature PUTRED release so far.
The album cover, made by Julian Mortuus, is a perfect fit, visually capturing exactly what the music represents. This album stands exactly as it was intended. Unfiltered, oppressive, and relentless.
