Interviews: The Devil's Forfeit

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock 'N' Roll band The Devil's Forfeit from Scotland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Why did you want to play this genre?

We didn’t really choose the genre; it chose us! We have such a mix of musical tastes and influences between us; we put them all together, and this is what came out!

2. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we didn’t know each other from Adam; it grew from adverts and social media posts.

3. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was at The Banshee Labyrinth in Edinburgh; it was our debut album launch, and it was a sell-out.

4. Each band member’s favourite band?

Angela – Currently, Rival Sons

Elliot – CCR

Viktor – Led Zeppelin

Ricky – Pink Floyd

5. Who would you like to feature with? 

There are lots of big bands that we would like to feature with, but being realistic, perhaps Silveroller.

6. Where would you like to act?

Our favourite venue is The Mac Arts in Galashiels; we would love to play there again.

7. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans mean everything to us; we appreciate every single one of them. Without their support, what would be the point? All we want to do is keep producing music that makes them happy.

8. What do you think of our website?

We have been on your website, and we love the fact that you cover such a wide range of genres. The interviews are really interesting as well; you ask all the right questions. It’s a really great site, and we’re glad we know about it!
