Behind The Artworks: Necromonger - Emanation Of The Dying Perceptions (2026)
The artwork for “Emanation Of The Dying Perceptions” was created to portray the collapse of human consciousness and identity through grotesque body horror imagery. The central figure represents a dying mind suspended between life, death, hallucination, and decomposition, while the severed heads symbolize fragmented emotions, mental decay, and the loss of humanity itself. The black, void-like background emphasizes isolation and detachment from reality, and the stitched flesh and fetal imagery reinforce themes of suffering, transformation, and the endless cycle of birth, decay, and death. Together, the artwork visually embodies the album’s concept — the final distorted visions and psychological remnants released from a collapsing consciousness before total extinction — capturing both the visceral and psychological nature of the music.
The artwork was created in close collaboration with the band and entirely based on the band’s own concept and vision, in order to fully translate the album’s themes into a visual form that reflects both the psychological and visceral aspects of the music. The entire cover artwork and album art design were created by DENUMBRA ARTWORK, whose interpretation perfectly captured the atmosphere of decay, madness, suffering and grotesque transformation embodied throughout the album.
