Eaten By Sharks return with “Capsized,” the first single from their upcoming album. Blending progressive structure, groove-driven riffs, and punishing death metal intensity, “Capsized” sets the tone for a record built on tension, chaos, and controlled descent.

 

“Capsized” is the third track off our upcoming album The Undertow Of Hate. It hits at the exact moment the vessel gives out and begins to flip, after taking on too much damage to stay afloat. It represents that breaking point, both physically and mentally, where everything collapses at once. The track also reflects the feeling of being completely overwhelmed, where emotion takes over and starts dragging you down toward something darker. We chose “Capsized” as the lead single because it balances a lot of what defines us. It has strong, memorable riffs, but also leans into the off-time rhythms and chaotic feel that shape our sound. It felt like the right entry point into the album and a solid representation of what The Undertow Of Hate brings as a whole.

 

The album itself follows a continuous narrative built around nautical horror and psychological descent. Each track plays a role in that sinking progression, from the initial damage to the inevitable pull beneath the surface.
