Interviews: Provenance
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Provenance from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it, or did it come out just like that?
Our guitarist came up with the band name, “Provenance” means the origin of something, and since we all started this music journey together when we were teenagers, it felt fitting!
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
We love the energy and intensity of this genre and have been fans of it since we were young.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, we were all in a band together back in 2012
4. Each band member's favourite band?
DeAundre: Counterparts
Jake: Counterparts
Corey: Mayday Parade
Kyle: The Devil Wears Prada
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Lately, we have been inspired by past experiences, and the EP we are writing is based on people who have screwed us over.

Our last gig was the downstairs Palladium in Worcester, opening for BTBAM
7. Where would you like to act?
Ohio, Louisville, and a festival like Sound & Fury

9. Whom not?
We are really open to working with anyone
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
Yes, we have all experienced it. The only tip we could give is to just play more shows and attend more shows as well!

11. Wind Walkers, Counterparts, Underoath, The Plot in You
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

13. What do you think of your fans?
The community that’s formed around us and throws down for all the bands at the shows is amazing and beyond appreciated!
14. What do you think of our site?
