Band Biographies: Noisext
Noisext, an iconic band on the Italian noise-rock scene, returns in 2026 with the album "S/T" (vinyl and CD release on Flamingo Records and Taxi Driver Records), a new recording of previously unreleased songs from the early 1990s.
The band made such a splash in the underground scene at the time that it attracted the interest of New York's PCP Entertainment, the independent label behind Unsane, Slug, and Chrome Cranks, among others, which decided to release their debut 7", "Welcome to my Head," in 1994. Then came the long hiatus, until today.
An old-school approach, feedback and various noises, piercing guitars, screams from hell, martial and merciless drums, all seasoned with two powerful distorted basses and a lyrical approach that leaves no escape from the metropolitan and urban hell that constitutes Noisext's conceptual humus.
