Band Biographies: Projector
Projector was formed in 2008 by Rodrigo Bocaz with the vision of forging a powerful melodic death metal sound. Throughout their career, the band has solidified their presence in the scene, earning the opportunity to share the stage and open for major international acts such as In Flames, Septicflesh, Obscura, and A Canorous Quintet.
Following their 2011 debut demo, "Perfect Imperfection", the group channeled their energy into their first full-length album, "Between the Nature and Ego", released in 2015 via Australis Records. The album garnered excellent reviews both locally and across the European continent. As a preview of their highly anticipated second studio album, the band released the single "Corporatocracy" in 2019. This upcoming record promises a sound packed with intense melodies, sheer brutality, and heavy riffs. It will also feature prominent guest appearances from key figures in the Chilean scene, including Cinthia Santibáñez (Crisálida) and Rodrigo Alpe (Recrucide).
