Behind The Tracks: Anthropophagus Depravity - Aberrant Incarnation (Single) (2026)
When we started writing Aberrant Incarnation, we wanted to explore the idea of a
false divine presence—something that appears as a savior but is actually born from
hatred and emptiness. It's not about religion in a direct sense, but about how people
can blindly follow something they don't truly understand.
The title itself represents an unnatural incarnation, something that should never
exist. Throughout the lyrics, this entity descends to earth disguised as light, but that
light is far from pure. Instead, it slowly poisons everything around it, leading
humanity toward destruction rather than salvation.
From a musical standpoint, this song is still connected to the sound we developed on
Demonic Paradise. We didn't want to leave behind what defines Anthropophagus
Depravity, but we also didn't want to write the same record twice. During the writing
process, we pushed ourselves to explore new harmonic ideas, more dynamic riff
transitions, and different approaches to melody while keeping the intensity and
brutality that have always been part of our sound. We see this track as a natural
evolution of the band and a glimpse of what's to come.
