Behind The Tracks: AXSOIRE - Disgusted (Single) (2026)

“Disgusted” is about stripping away the outer layers of a person to find the source of the decay underneath.

The lyrics turn that search into something almost procedural — or like an interrogation: “Peel me raw,” then flay, drain, sell, name, and claim. By the bridge, the figure wearing the crown and sitting on the throne can be read as another person, society, or even the narrator’s own reflection.

So “rot” isn’t meant as literal gore. It represents moral, social, and psychological decay. We reduced the chorus to that single repeated word because we wanted it to hit like a diagnosis: ROT.
