Track By Tracks: No Kings Allowed - Dethroned Reimagined (2026)

Before going into the individual songs, the main idea behind Dethroned Reimagined is important. These are not remasters, and they are not meant to replace the original recordings. The songs stayed in our live set, but the band around them changed. Yarno joined as our clean vocalist, guitar parts and solos developed, arrangements shifted through rehearsals and shows, and the production approach became much stronger. For this EP, we re-recorded the guitars, rebuilt the production, and captured the versions the current band had grown into.

1. Dethroned:

This is the official focus track and the shortest, most direct song on the EP. It gets moving quickly, has the clearest hook and, for us, the strongest overall production of the four tracks. It represents the whole concept of the release in one song: the core composition is still recognisable, but the current vocal setup, updated arrangement and live energy make it feel like the version we now consider definitive for this line-up.

2. No Kings Allowed:

This song is closely tied to the earliest identity of the band. The reimagined version gives the arrangement more room and better reflects how the current six-piece handles dynamics, vocal contrast, and the heavier sections. It was never about rewriting the song from scratch; it was about documenting what the full band and years of live performance had added to it.

3. My Queen:

My Queen shows one of the clearest changes created by the current dual-vocal line-up. The original recording predates Yarno joining the band, while the reimagined version brings clean vocals into the song in the way they naturally became part of the live arrangement. That contrast between melody and heaviness now feels much closer to the identity No Kings Allowed developed after the debut.

4. A Bloodsoaked Crusade:

As the closing track, A Bloodsoaked Crusade represents the broader and more dramatic side of the early material. The rebuilt production and re-recorded guitars give the different sections more definition and allow the song to end the EP with a stronger sense of scale. It closes the release by showing that the purpose was not only to make the songs heavier, but to make their structure and atmosphere translate more clearly.
