Behind The Artworks: Orbital Soul System - Nightwing (2026)
The cover art, just like for the first album, was created by the magnificent artist
MosaEye, based on the storyline of the song Nightwing. It depicts the final moment of
the track, where people stand holding hands for the last time before a wave — half-
cosmic, half-marine — looms over them (because where would I be without the sea?).
The work went quite smoothly: I explained the concept to the designer (people standing
on the shore, holding hands before a wave that seems to emerge from the depths of the
universe), and he immediately grasped the essence and the aesthetic. From the very
first attempt, he created a painting that, after a couple of minor adjustments, became
the final version of the cover.
