Behind The Scenes: VALKYRIE'S FIRE - Evermore (Official Video)

Bettie Floyd (vocals): “Evermore” is a positive spin on the classic poem “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe, and the vision for the music video that Bettie had was to incorporate an old feel and vibe that reflects the time and era of Poe’s writings. In the music video, you will notice the verses are performed in that older style setting, and the chorus gives way to the upbeat, more positive outlook and emotions that remind us all that brighter days lie ahead. While there is no personal connection to the theme of this music video, we must say that the inspiration from one of our favorite authors - Edgar Allen Poe - was the inspiration behind this video. Everyone goes through dark moments in life, but how we handle that situation and grow from it is the proof of our strength and growth at the end of the day.
