Behind The Tracks: AFTERDOOM - SEMPITERNUM (Single) (2026)

AFTERDOOM, a Blackened Deathcore band from Barcelona (Spain), breaks their silence and releases the new single "SEMPITERNUM", which will be the first in a series of releases that will make up their new album "Immaterium".

The band comprises five members known as the “Emissaries of Chaos” (you can read more about their story on our website www.afterdoomofficial.com/en).

The music video and song will premiere in grand style on September 25th, featuring a collaboration with Victor Parra (former lead singer of The Broken Horizon) who joins forces with Morgul (lead singer of AFTERDOOM) to create the perfect harmony for this powerful song.

SEMPITERNUM is a song in which AFTERDOOM showcases the band's significant evolution since their previous album "Assembly of Chaos", delving much deeper into modern styles such as Deathcore, Black Metal and Metalcore while still retaining their signature choruses and melodic passages that fill every corner as well as the choppy riffs that come alive with a compelling punch.

It also explores the pain and emotions that well up within the Emissaries as they commit themselves to such a fate and mission. The Emissaries are tough, unyielding and cold beings, characterised by their imperturbability, but what they feel is not always hidden behind their masks, and they reveal the eternal darkness within.
