Track By Tracks: Yuno - Indie Show At Moralton (2026)

1. Stanferatu:

Stanferatu is a character from American Dad meant to be stan's dream insecurities come to life. The song itself is about both wanting to play music for a larger audience but not wanting to be perceived as a person, instead wanting art to be the only connection, but understanding that isn't how it works

2. Now here's something we hope you'll really like:

This is also a reference, this time to Rocky and Bullwinkle. The song itself has more of a pop turn, which is because it was written as a pastiche of 2000s emo-core.

3. Your dad's favorite emo song:

Also kind of written as a pastiche, but this time for jock jam rock anthems; this song was written and titled during an acid trip.

4. Indie movie:

Indie movie was written to evoke the vibes of getting in the car in a road trip film, the lyrics telling the generic indie film tale of a sad guy with no direction meeting a sad girl with no direction, only to realize that not only is nothing fixed, but now they're in a relationship that's going nowhere

5. Child:

Child is my skramz adoration coming to life. It's about a miscarriage. Not any specific one, though. Just the tragedy of a miscarriage. But it can be for any tragedy; it's mainly just about standing by the person while they go through it.

6. Alone/glass desert:

So funny story: I wrote this song in high school, and it was initially titled Alone. I added Glass Desert because I was playing Slime Rancher, and not only does the plot of that run parallel to the song, but Glass Desert (the area which the song is named) has the same chord progression in the beginning of the level

7. Fortheright:

If Child is skramz love, for the right is hardcore love. This song isn't as storied; I tried and failed to write in iambic pentameter because Shakespeare is a hack, and the title just happened to be the chorus. This was also written in high school.

8. The bell song:

The title for the bell song has very little to do with the song; it's a reference to a whitest kids, You Know sketch where they spend the whole sketch on a bit that aged weirdly, and then at the end someone comes in with a random thing, and now that random thing is what the sketch is named after. I just thought it was funny and wanted to do the same bit. The song itself is about trying to converse while autistic and depressed

9. A dissertation on justice with seriyuu ubiquitious, rorshack, and american sniper chris kyle:

The title, which references Akame ga Kill, Watchmen, and a guy who murdered a lot of people for American imperialism, is actually a pretty good indicator of the meaning of the song. Each of these characters believed in their actions because of a Justice they earnestly couldn't define, only to be left with a kill count and doubt, and the people, if any, they thought would be there after. Just aren't.

10. 5.55 I'm (not) here:

The title is an Evangelion reference. The song is to remind whitey I'm doing this for the culture.

11. Thank you joe pera, goodnight:

And finally, we have thank you joe pera. I wrote this after a breakup while watching “joe pera talks you to sleep” The song talks about growing up only after it's over and the loneliness being compounded, then released by maturity.
