Interviews: Krvsade

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band Krvsade from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Andre: Really wanted the name crusade but 1. it was taken and 2. hard to search for the band when that also is the name of multiple wars. So just did the "kvlt" thing to do and switch the "u" for a "v" and change the "c" to a "k". As for why the name, it describes our sound. Bringing multiple genres together for a common cause. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Andre: Heavy music is all I really like to listen to and I just make music I wanna hear but haven't heard. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No we all met forming this band from Facebook or online. Jeb and I (Andre) met when he was playing in another band at the time. we got to talking and started jamming. Then he joined Krvsade

4. Each band member favorite band?

Arthur: Death

Keegan: Cattle Decapitation

Andre: Metallica Jeb: Black Sabbath 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Andre: Life events and just random things that pique my interest. It could be a random thing that happened in human history, or something happening in the world right now.

6. Where was your last gig?

The milestone in Charlotte NC.

7. Where would you like to act?

Germany

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

James Murphy. That would be awesome

9. Whom not?

Any and every deathcore artist.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Oh yea that's gonna happen, sometimes it happens now. A good tip would be to practice a lot but also play in front of a mirror, look at how you look while playing cause a lot of times you won't know till you see an ugly picture online. Also, practice where your gonna stand and any moves you wanna do while in rehearsal.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Death, Metallica, Sepultura.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Andre: Honestly, the weirdest thing would be someone asking if we would sign some stuff for them. Never had that happen before so it was weird. Sorry, it wasn't anything crazy.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Andre: Loyal as hell. They come out to every show whether it's on a Saturday night or a Monday they are there. We can always count on them.

14. What do you think of our site? 

Andre: Anyone that's taking their time to help promote young bands is awesome. I know you go through a countless amount of bands so its awesome ya'll promote bands and have the drive to do it.
