Behind The Artworks: Lethian Dreams - A Shadow Of Memories (2020)

 

The meaning of the artwork is different for each of us, we all find in it a meaning that is personal and that’s what we like. 

The front cover depicts a stag in a forest at dawn. For me, in this situation I would feel soothed by the beauty of this scenery, it brings a feeling of serenity. At the same time, the colors chosen bring an eerie atmosphere: something will break that serenity, maybe this permanent shadow that we bring into it… 

Carline: For me, the stag represents the haunting of memories. 

If you watch the artwork with the front and the back cover side by side, there's a light in which the stag passes through. 

It reminds me of the memories that pass through you, they might leave you for a while, but they always come back.
