Interviews: Wasted Land

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Melodic Death Metal band, Wasted Land from Saudi Arabia. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name is “ Wasted Land “the meaning of it came from a song from Suidakra called Wasted lands. We don't refer to any meaning behind it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because of the variety for melodies

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Of course, we were friends who loved to jam together.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We all love melodic death metal, but Emad is more into everything metal has been released.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It started all because of the bands we listened to.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was in a Science and technology university.

7. Where would you like to act?

We hope Wacken one day

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Either Iron Maiden or Dark tranquillity.

9. Whom not?

We don't have a not list as long as they are a metal band.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, our advice is to not perform while you are drunk.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Of course Suidakra.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Once our drummer threw his stick at one of our fans by mistake and he started bleeding. The fan came and was extremely happy.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're amazing!
