Behind The Artworks: Downcast - Hell (Single) (2021)

Honestly, with this one, I just wanted to make it as crazy as possible. The TV is present in both the ‘britannia mills’ and ‘hell’ videos, so I wanted to incorporate it into the ‘hell’ artwork as well. The devil-like hand is also something followers of downcast will be familiar with from the ‘catharsis’ artwork, and the lyrics to the track ‘hell’ itself should make it clear to them why it’s relevant, with lines such as ‘I saw hell when I was with you’.
