Behind The Tracks: Cuprion - Hung (Single) (2021)

Hung is about Chinese cult photographer, Ren Hang and his story leading to his tragic decision to take his life. He was a photographer who challenged China's harsh policies against sex, nudity and sexuality, and was thus considered a revolutionary in the field therefore.

He was also a poet and often documented his feelings of desperation and severe depression, often cataloging how he wanted to end his life and wished to just not wake up one day.

He hung himself a month before his 30th birthday.

His story is one that portrays the difficulty and lifestyle of an outcast based on creative and cultural display like so many before him.
