Behind The Artworks: Kill All The Gentlemen - Black Canvas (2022)

Black Canvas is painting a picture of our demise. Once a blank canvas, pure and white, painting a picture of Mother Earth’s impending doom. Colours that do not suit its palette and becoming spoiled and tainted until it all turns black.

The artist Jose Gabriel Alegria Sabogal decided to use the theme of Medusa for the artwork. It paints a picture in itself and I think best describes the theme of the album metaphorically. A warrior holding the head of Medusa up to the sun. Triumph attained by tragedy.
