Interviews: Rabid Hood

We have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band Rabid Hood from Norway. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or come out just like that?

Rabid Hood is a name guitarist Steinar Aven had lying in his head for a while, and we thought it fits well with our style of music. It`s only Rock n Roll..hehe

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Well ... we have all played in different bands with different styles ... this time it was melodic hard rock ... something we all love.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we have known each other for many years.

4. Each band member favourite band?

There we are quite lucky ... we are all born in the 70's, and like the music we grew up with such as Motorhead, AC / DC, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, etc. No arguing there.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Loud music and beer is a good combination. plus the previously mentioned favorite band.

6. Where was your last gig?

Since we are a new band, we have not played live yet.

7. Where would you like to act?

Have no favorites. Small pubs, big festivals ... we take everything we get

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Good question ... I think we fit in with many bands..but if we must choose, it will be AC / DC, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Rose Tattoo ... and Motorhead if they had still been here

9. Whom not?

Will not mention names .... but we are not a fan of new metal, rap metal etc ... No thanks to that type of band.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not anymore ... we are old and experienced you know .. Best tip is to get drunk and have fun.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Motorhead, AC / DC, Maiden, Priest, Rose Tattoo, Backstreet Girls to name a few. 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

An autograph.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans ... especially old and overweight women ..

14. What do you think of our site?

Realy like it looks great.
